Shooting

Loch Leven, the largest loch in lowland Scotland, lies in the shadow of the Lomond Hills and is one of the most important sites for waterfowl in Britain. It has the largest concentration of breeding ducks found anywhere in the UK and more than 20,000 Pink-footed and Graylag geese take up residence on and around the loch in early winter. A significant amount of these birds remain throughout the entire winter months.

Shooting can also be arranged upland on the farmland at Findatie. The shooting rights are controlled by Des Cochrane who is a registered BASC Guide. On his UK Shooting Breaks.org website you will be able to find information on many of the types of shooting and stalking that you will be able to do under the supervision and guidance of Des.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL SHOOTING MUST BE ARRANGED IN ADVANCE

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Cluny Clays Activity Centre is only 7 miles from the lodges and can offer both clay pigeon shooting and shooting with air rifles.

Walking

The Fife Coastal Path stretches from the Forth Bridges to Crail and can be broken up into many smaller walks along which you can often spot a variety of wildlife such as puffins, grey seals and dolphins.

The famous Tetley Tea Trail is a pleasant afternoon's walk linking Scotlandwell with Kinnesswood.

The proposed 'Round Loch Leven' walkway is due to get underway soon and will provide a walking / cycle route around the 12 mile perimeter of Loch leven. This will be accessed directly from the site of Loch Leven Lodges
